Planned Parenthood Texas Votes (PPTV) is the the 501(c)(4) statewide political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood in Texas. Our mission is to foster and preserve a social and political climate in Texas favorable to full reproductive health care access, through electoral activity, legislative advocacy, and grassroots organizing, to promote and protect the mission of Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas.
PPTV has a robust network of advocates across the state who are active in the fight for reproductive health, rights and justice, and who turn to us for information about candidates and their campaigns.
STATE, COUNTY AND LOCAL CANDIDATES
Candidate questionnaires will be made available on this website and via email to candidates after the filing deadline, Monday, December 11. Questionnaires must be returned to PPTV by Wednesday, January 10 to be considered for an endorsement in the primary election. The PPTV Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, January 31 to vote on candidate endorsements. Candidates who receive the endorsement of the board will be notified by Friday, February 2.

Federal level endorsements are handled by our national office, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF). The federal candidate questionnaire is available through PPAF. Note: Per IRS law, 501(c)(3) entities, including Planned Parenthood entities that provide health care, can not engage in electoral issue or candidate campaigns. Please do not contact Planned Parenthood health centers about electoral matters.
